Team Inspiration

Hi folks, I hope everyone is having a great week! I can’t believe we are in the last week of February already but I am not complaining.  Coming to you from Nova Scotia, I am SO ready for this winter to be over because we have had a crazy one.  I am seeing a bit of change in the weather here with some warmer temperatures and melting snow which in my books is ALL good stuff.

I can’t say enough about the talent on our design team and this week’s inspiration showcases this beautifully.

Sue Kment shares this cute and wintery fun card with a little sliding action. Adorable!

Shelly Hickox always amazes us with her detail and these two pop it cards are great examples of her work.  The first being this Steampunk Valentine

And this birthday card that has many experiments proving successful; very successful!

Linda Cain wows us with her layering and incredible colour.  This tag showcases both beautifully!

Linda takes her talent in many directions and jewelry is just one of them.  These earrings demonstrate the versatility of our craft.

Again, straying from paper Pam Hooten has created this great tattered floral keyring.  In this she uses shrink plastic but it has taken on a beautiful metal look.  Check it out!

I just wanted to remind everyone that this week is the last  to get your submissions in for our Monthly Challenge.  We are getting some really great pieces shared by some truly talented people which we love to see so thank you! If you have not got in on the fun before, why not make this month your first time.  You still have time to post for your chance to win $50 to spend in our online store. I personally think we are all winners with challenges like these because it allows each of us to see art from people maybe we may not have come across otherwise.  Our love for creating and also sharing is a huge part of why I believe we love this craft so much.  Another reason is the opportunity to meet some pretty darn amazing people that just happen to have a similiar passion for paper.  So, spread the word with your crafting friends and help build this community.  You never know, it could be your name that is drawn to win this month!

Danielle Lounds has created two projects perfect for this month’s challenge of wise words and Quotes.  The first can be found HERE and one can’t help but feel empowered by the quote and the beautiful vibrant colours. Think Big!

Keeping with the same colour scheme which is so eye catching, Danielle also shares THIS card.  Beauitful job on both Danielle!

That’s it for now but keep your art coming, your fingers crossed and hope it is your name we will be announcing on march 1.  Happy Creating!

The Inspiration Keeps Coming

Here is hoping everyone is going to have a creative weekend ahead, whatever your plans.  We are back with yet more amazing inspiration from our design team.  I hope you will take time to visit their blogs and leave comments.  Most of us create things for and from our soul and it is always nice to see others appreciate what we have created.  Leaving comments, sharing our posts and using our ideas as inspiration definitely shows this and keeps us doing what we love to do so thank you from all of our designers and Inspiration Emporium.

In keeping with our monthly challenge of using dies cuts and punches, Pam Hooten created this amazing spread of pure goodness!
